We wanted to dare, overturning tradition and creating something completely new.
This is how our AperiBabà was born, the first and only aperitif Babà.
We have revisited the original recipe of our Babà and combined it with one of the most famous and characteristic flavors of our territory and of the entire North East: the Bassano del Grappa aperitif.
With shades of rhubarb, orange and gentian, our AperiBabà becomes the perfect base for creating your original aperitifs.
Cantabrian anchovies, buffalo mozzarella and confit tomatoes, blue cheeses and dried fruit, Tagiasca olives and tomato paté. A thousand combinations that enhance the flavors and create a new and unique experience. The only limit is your imagination.

The jar-cooked Babà, artisanal and without preservatives, can be kept for up to a year.
It is prepared, leavened, cooked and soaked directly in the jar, so as to make the taste more concentrated and fragrant, without dispersing the flavours and keeping it as if it were freshly baked, preserving all its aromas and flavours.
Our Babà stands out for the uncommon use of NATURAL YEAST instead of brewer's yeast, which gives it an absolutely unique aroma, aftertaste and softness.
To enjoy it at its best, we recommend opening it at least 20 minutes before serving.

Why are our babas different?
Usually, Babà in Vasocottura use brewer's yeast to obtain a more stable and faster product in the production chain. However, this compromises the flavor, overpowering the aromas and not making the dough adequately soft.
Our Babà are instead created exclusively with natural yeast : through slow leavening at a controlled temperature, the Babà develop in a soft manner, maintaining all the nuances of flavour , from the softness of the butter to the gentle touch of Madagascar vanilla.
Not simply "Sweet"
All our syrups are studied and balanced so as not to let the simple sweet taste of sugar prevail, but to give the right space to the characteristic flavour of the liqueurs used.
