Zauner is the most famous and one of the oldest pastry shops in Austria, now in its seventh generation.
The Zauner Café was born in Bad Ischl, the city where Emperor Franz Joseph proposed engagement to Princess Sissi. Johann Zauner was called precisely to play the role of court pastry chef, and then opened the historic café in 1832. But it was in 1905 that the most famous of Zauner desserts was created, the Zaunerstollen , still today the flagship classic of the production.
All Zauner creations, chocolate-based but not only, stand out for the craftsmanship and the very high quality with which they are produced and packaged.
